NEW TRACTOR PRODUCT DEBUTS:
New Line of Merchandise Also Available

The next generation of tractors from TYM made its American debut at the National Farm Machinery Show in Kentucky, held in February. The new model features Turbo Caterpillar engines—the first partnership of its kind for Caterpillar. In addition to the new K6 series, TYM premiered its full line of merchandise including work clothes, jackets, and coffee mugs.

The first tractor arrived in the States when TYM-America launched the new K-6 TYM model line in February. While the debut occurred in Kentucky at the National Farm Machinery Show in February, this launch included the start of a long-term partnership and a new line of TYM merchandise.

“We are proud of our product and the merchandise was a natural tie-in,” said Craig Pickles, TYM America President. “Quality does matter, so we selected quality apparel that our dealers, customers, and vendors will be proud to wear at work and play.”

Those new TYM products include apparel such as thermal jackets, vests, polo shirts, clothing as noted by Pickles, “gentleman farmers both men and women, will be proud to wear.” The other product lines include leather portfolios, thermal mugs, coffee mugs, and, soon to be launched, die cast toy models of the tractors themselves.

The large tractors, themselves are the big news! According to TYM-America President Craig Pickles, the new K-6 ranges from 54.4 to 60.5 hp and incorporates the Caterpillar engine. This is the first foray for CAT into the small tractor market and the first partnership of its kind for this legendary and trusted manufacturer.

“Why did Caterpillar join with TYM?” said Pickles. “Because QualiTYMatters! TYM tractors have gained respect from dealers and end users who respect the high quality and advanced design, as well as its reliability record. More importantly, they like the economical price point of this machine. This is a major partnership between CAT and TYM.”

With the premier of the K-6 Model, TYM expanded the K-2 model line in February. Noted for its reliable 23 hp to 27 hp engines with side or rear mid- mount mowers plus quick detach front loaders, manual versions of these units are now available.
