TYM AMERICA EXPANDS MARKETING DEPARTMENT

With over three decades of large equipment and tractor experience, John Mickel joins the sales department of TYM America as an independent representative for the Mid-Atlantic to New England territory.

(Harrisburg PA. . . . May 2006) John Mickel has been added to the Sales and Marketing arm of TYM America as an independent representative, according to TYM America President Craig Pickles. Mickel comes to TYM America with over three decades of equipment experience. The new addition comes on the heels of Jay Feldman becoming Vice President of Sales for the company.

"Mickel will be responsible for the Northeast territory for our company that includes all the states from West Virginia through Maine," said Pickles. "The region from the Mid-Atlantic states through New England is a thriving territory to be tapped. This goes hand in hand with our marketing plan to garner a larger percentage of the highly competitive compact tractor market."

Mickel will focus on client retention as well as development of new dealers for the TYM America product line. His duties will be to research and develop distribution arenas and facilitate the sales and marketing efforts for the dealers.

In the equipment and tractor business all his life, Mickel started in tractor utility and lawn and garden products when his father started his own business in Altoona, PA., called R.K. Mickel Equipment. When his father sold the business, Mickel continued working in the industry, as sales and marketing representative, as well as a sales and marketing manager for companies such as Land Pride, and had stints as General Manager and CEO of various companies including S D M & R, Brickman Group, and other tractor and equipment companies. Currently Mickel, who resides in Richboro, PA, will split his time between his home office, the TYM America, Harrisburg, PA headquarters and traveling throughout his sales territory.

In 2006, the company has continued to posture itself for expansion in the United States including adding sales staff, a new and expanded line of tractors in a variety of colors, and a major partnership with another major American company, Caterpillar who supplies their engines.
